Title: Holy hell.
Post by: LCK on January 29, 2008, 08:07:03 PM
It's -13 degrees right now, with a -41 degree wind chill. >.<
Yesterday it was up to about 40 degrees, and all the snow was melting. Now all the water is frozen, and my whole town is covered in ice. At this moment, it's actually possible to ice skate to school.

but hell yea i don't have school tomorrow  befuddlement

Sometimes I wish it snowed in California.
But then other times I don't.

All of our snow melted today and we had thunderstorms. Tonight is supposed to be cold and freeze everything.

Do you live in Minneapolis? Because that's exactly what today/yesterday was for us as well. Except we still have school.  doodthing;

I live about an hour southwest of Minneapolis.

We only got a two hour delay, those bastards are making me walk to school with a -35 windchill. >.<
How cold does it need to be for them to close school in this damn state? :'(

I don't have school, but I only have one inch of snow that melted about an hour ago. Oh how I love Virginia.

I can only remember have three school closings ever due to snow/ice... it literally takes an ice maelstrom at 4-5am to get schools to close.  :(

The town I live in is about 1 hour south...slightly west of Minneapolis. If the dot were in the correct place, it'd be a little more apparent.
It's also a town of 1000 people. befuddlement

The MN Zoo definitely have beavers. It's the fucking coolest zoo ever. It's even got polar bears and whatever those things are called that smell like shit and look like Drowzee.

I'm now angry that I've never seen the beavers there. I go there at least once a year.
I always love going to see the dolphin show.

Polar bears are always awesome at zoos doodella;

This one I went to had a glass hall you could go in, and 2 polar bears swam up and kept looking in at all the people. They were huge... and hungry most likely
