Title: Adrian Terrazaz Gonzalaez is probably my favorite sax player
Post by: Selkie on January 28, 2008, 05:32:27 PM
idk why, I just love when he does that crazy shit.

BTW: He's the sax in the Mars Volta, and I believe he also did some sax for Omar's solo work.

A perfect example of why I love him is the sax solo at the end of Cassandra Gemini.

He's not bad, but there are countless jazz legends that are way more talented, and also sound better in my opinion.

I mean, I could play what Gonzalez does on Cassandra Gemini with a little practice, but I could only dream of performing a Charles Mingus solo after decades of dedication.

Charles Mingus was a bassist, not a saxophonist.
