I got a Free Subscription to Games for Windows because Lawlz showed me that freebie some site was having at the time. (Subscription ended)
And yesterday I decided to get me an Edge card so I now have a subscription to Game Informer.
Game Informer and Nintendo Power.
I used to get Game Informer and Nintendo Power, but then I realized that Nintendo Power was just a big ad for Nintendo so I didn't resubscribe when my subscription ran out. i stopped getting Game Informer a while ago, but they have good articles and the reviews are pretty reliable.
Nintendo Power and PSM. Nintendo Power is getting progressively worse than it already was edumacate;
I used to get NP, but the subscription ran out, at the most inopportune time. The next issue was going to have something about Archaic Sealed Heat.
Games for Windows because it was free thanks to the WCG.
I used to get Games for Windows but I moved and whoever moved in stole my free magazines. I wish I could get more.
I used to get Gameinformer, but I gradually started to dislike them beause if it wasn't xbawcks they didn't give a shit about it. Also, I hated those 12 page coverstories where they'd hype up some game as the greatest thing ever, then give it somewhere from a 4-6/10 a few months later.
Used to get Nintendo Power, but I was lazy in renewing it and it gave me no new info. If they still have the free t-shirts, I may renew it just for that.
also i added the news message icon because we don't have a book and i suppose magazines do deliver news of some sorts

Are you kidding? That's the best part of Game Informer.
I had a year subscription to Computer Gaming World/Games for Windows the Official Magazine, but that expired last January and I have not renewed it, I'm happy with gaming sites. And I look at Famitsu scans on Jeux France.

Long, boring interviews with developers on some half assed FPS. Occasionally it'd be God of War or something like that, but never anything interesting (to me).
I liked reading their little screenshot commentary, reviews on horrible games, and reader letters. I'd sometimes skim through to look for upcoming DS games or something, but you can't trust a person that gives Elite Beat Agents a 6.75. (http://www.gameinformer.com/Games/Review/200612/R06.1102.1127.53876.htm)
I noticed they were always tough on handheld games and expected something with the complexity of console controls and billions of polygons per second and uncompressed, highestpossiblequality sound. I favor handhelds over everything today, so this really gave me nothing worth reading.

That's because Elite Beat Agents is pretty mediocre

GET THE POWER, NINTENDO POWERRRRRRR.
GET THE CLOSE THAT YOU CAN USE NINTENDO POWERRRRRRRR.
HIGHER AND HIGHER, FIGHTING YOUR WAY THROUGH ENEMY FIRE!
I have Game Informer, and a delayed subscription to Popular Science.
And I plan to (maybe) get a subscription to xbox magazine, due to all the free games and demos they usually provide.
My older brother had a Nintendo Power and Gameinformer magazine subscription for two years and my mom always renews it.
last time i checked the ones that come are Nintendo Power, Game Informer, and Playstation Magazine
I used to get Nintendo Power, but that ran out and I didn't renew it because I went through a "gaming is queer" phase when I was in 6th-8th grade.
But I do get Motor Trend, Road and Track, and Lego magazine. Used to get 5.0 Mustangs and Superfords, but didn't renew that because it was basically the same articles over and over. "So and so has a blah blah with a whodiddly whatsit and a new fronghoffer."
I used to get Nintendo Power then I stopped receiving it. I want a new one so I'll probably get XBox magazine because of the fact I just bought a 360. I read one at the Dentist's and it was a pretty good magazine.

Yes, but I think that Xbox, PSM, and NP tend to be a lot-a little more biased to their own console.
Game Informer tends to be pretty even, most of the time.

That's why it's the best part. They make a game out to be absolutely amazing and groundbreaking and they hype it up like it's going to start some sort of gaming revolution, and then when it comes out a few months later they give it a 6. It's hilarious.

Yeah, they hardly ever gave handheld games decent scores. I stopped reading it because they were so biased in favor of the Xbox.
also i used to get xbox for demos
I used to get EGM and Game Informer.
I didn't really read them much so I didn't renew the subscription.

They said button controls work better for such a game.
...
Seriously now.

Ok, I'll make sure to check it out.
None. I used to get Nintendo Power.
I got three free issues of Nintendo Power once.
... baddood;

So did I. They just added on to the end of my subscription. The last issue I ever got was May 2007. The first one I ever got had 1080 Snowboarding (the first one for N64) on the cover and the second part to the guide to Yoshi's Story were in it. So...the year was 1998, but I don't remember what the month was.
I got suckered into buying an Edge card so Game Informer.

They did that to me too, I wanted to sell some old games and they wouldn't shut the fuck up about it.
I said no like 5 times and the guy was like "you get free subscription to game informer lol" and then I said, "Ok whatever just shutup." and he did.
The guy that works at my Gamestop is a flame.
I used to get Nintendo Power, but they quit doing those bundle packs where you could get a free game, so I stopped.
Also, I was going to get Tips & Tricks, but they quit making issues >.<

The guy just kept asking me everytime I went in to trade in games, so I gave in to the pressure. and plus free Game Informer powerofone;.
I used to get Games for Windows from Kotaku, but I think it's over now. I got Nintendo Power for three months for registering a few games. I used to get Game Informer for a year for being a Gamestop member or something, but I think it's over now too. I don't really read magazines anyway, so whatever.
I get Game Informer for the reviews, and Xbox Magazine. I don't read that POS magazine, I just get the demos so I don't have to waste HD space and time by downloading everything off of live.
Same here, and it is actually a good magazine. It hasn't stopped coming so I wonder if it's really for just a year...
I used to subscribe to GI but stopped, and I used to do the three for free thing every chance I could get and now the money hungry faggots stopped that so I don't subscribe to NP anymore.
I used to get nintendo power, but when the subscroption ended I didn't bother to resubscribe.
None. The only magazines I subscribe to are Mac|Life, Macworld, and White Dwarf (Warhammer magazine).
I currently hold subscriptions to EGM and Nintendo Power.
I used to get GamePro, but my friend gifted me a subscription to EGM, and I fell in love.

None.
I have a free subscription (I think a year) to EGM from Joystiq. Don't know when it's ever coming though, Ziff Davis is notoriously bad when it comes to shipping magazines on time.
