Post by: Selkie on January 26, 2008, 05:57:02 PM
was about how being original is good.

I owned it. I used Pulp Fiction, The Mars Volta, and Thomas Edison

The only thing I know about Apple or Steve Jobs is that he was born February 24th

And that's only because that's my birthday

Hmm. Thomas Edison may not have been the best for a test in which you're trying to prove intelligence -- Mr. Edison actually borrowed/blatantly stole most of his "inventions" from others.  edumacate;

The Mars Volta are good for originality I guess, but it'd be better to talk about the jivin' niggers who made jazz and musical nonconformity popular in the beginning of the century.

The lightbulb.

But it was less of an invention and more of an improvement. That'd be like saying Steve Wozniak invented the computer.

That, and from what I remember, he also is usually falsely credited with inventing the telegraph, record player, movie camera, and electric chair.

You want originality? Miles Davis is originality.

Also, I'm still wondering when the hell I'm going to take my SAT, if ever.

I'm having trouble organizing my ideas in my writing for some reason, so I think I need to work on fixing that. MY GORGEOUS ENGLISH TEACHER USED TO FANTASIZE ABOUT READING MY NEXT ESSAY, BUT FOR SOME REASON THEY'VE SUDDENLY BECOME SLOP.

Oh, right.

Talk about how being a Hypocrite counts as being original. Like PETA.

Don't worry your pretty little head about the SAT. You're pretty much doomed to a life of menial labor.
