It was perfectly fine up until this morning after I played 2 songs.

How do I get it to work again? Or do I need to send it to Activision to repair?

Remember how you can't mess with buttons or the analog stick on a GCN controller when the game is starting up?

Same thing works for that whammy bar. Chances are, you accidentally messed with it when the game or a song was starting. It'll probably be fixed if you just reset the game. It happened to me once.
