Discuss them here, whether they be your favorites, or shitty ones you're forced to read in class. Also, feel free to submit your own poems if you write them for others to read.

I was just thinking of this one:
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.
When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn't a Jew.
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.
"First they came..." by Martin Niem?ller
Favorites? I have too many. Favorite poets? John Crowe Ransom, Henry Longfellow, Edgar Allen Poe, William Blake, and (perhaps surprisingly) Jim Morrison.
The rain falls down
On my face
Down my face
Onto the ground
