I type extremely fast for a hunt and pecker.... china;
I have to admit though, I make alot of errors because of it, but erase them just as quickly.
I keep my hands in the correct position.
I got pissed when my left shift key broke and I was forced to use the right.

Because I use hunt and peck, I never use the left shift. Never.
With my hands. I don't have to look at the keyboard, but I tend to look down into nothingness to focus.
And my fingers just fly everywhere.
Left pinky on the shift, and I type like a real person.
110 words per minute.
Home-row keys is how I was taught, and it's how I still type. What I don't do correctly though is shifting. I actually move my whole hand to shift.
Lol, I've been using hunt and peck for more than a year, now it's not done with one finger, but all, generally the index and ring finger. It's kinda the same as hunt and peck, but way faster. Plus, it's fun.
I guess I "hunt and peck" as you said Necro.
I am much slower if I use the home row.

Yeah, same here, I suck at home row.
I call it hunt and peck, because it reminds me of a piano playing chicken I saw once. It's just using your index fingers all the time. As a result of my super fast typing, I hit my spacebar incredibley hard. It's a miracle my spacebar works. v;
