Title: Um... Christmas music.
Post by: bluaki on December 05, 2007, 05:53:28 PM
My mother does weird stuff for her kindergarten class and for whatever reason I have to gather up a ton of Christmas songs and put them all on one CD for her.
From ripping CDs we have around the house, I've gotten 29 of the 31 songs I need. Where can I download Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town? I need the versions of each that is from those Rankin-Bass videos. Specifically, this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx0I5fcuI9Q) and this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFzn7HX2EQA) (I don't want sound rips from YouTube, I want like a mp3 or wav ripped from their soundtrack)

Also, ITT discuss the really old Christmas videos china;

Fairytale of New York by The Pogues is probably the best semi-modern Christmas song.

Other then that, just give me some jazzy versions of Christmas classics (Charlie Brown Christmas album anyone?) or Phil Spector's Christmas album.

I like this one French one called "The Legend of Saint Nicolas". I can't find it anywhere though, only the lyrics...
