Sounds like a problem I had with my Netgear. Re-setup your router and disable security on it.
Trust me. It works. educate;
Did you put "Auto obtain IP address" in the Wi-fi settings?

I WANT YOU GUYS TO HELP ME! argh;
Sell Linksys, and buy a 2wire. Simple. If you're lucky, the model you get will take you to the Firmware of the router by typing "home" in your Browser like it does with mine. Otherwise, you need to use portforwarding.com and put the IP address you see into your browser. Then, mess around a little.

I'll give that a try.
BUMP.
Alright, so, where are you at here, anyways? It should have a record of what systems tried to connect. It might also be a wireless security system stopping you, if you can find it with your DS wifi connection detector.
