Does anyone know of a place that hires 14-year olds? I know it's legal as long as we don't operate heavy machinery here in California. But I need to know a place.
Preferably a place where I don't have to work a cash register, but if that's the only possible thing, tell me.
you're too young to have an actual job
when i was 14 i wanted a job
im glad i didnt get one

Outside of Home Depot like a Mexican.
What would I do, though?
In my state you get a work permit from you school and you can only work at shitty places like Hy-Vee or McDonald's.
Well you can prolly get a job in some landscaping buisness, they seem to take anyone.
You might be able to get a job at a grocery store. This one in my town hires 14 year olds.
I work at Domino's lol.
I'm getting a job this coming summer.
Whats a good place that hires 16-year olds?

Sell what remains of your soul to capitalism and work at your favorite place: Burger King.

But, what if he gets raoed?
Anyways, back to the topic. Why not just do extra chores for money? And what the hell is wrong with cash registers?
ive been working for this indian guy on broadway for about 14 bucks an hour since I was 14
I dont really do anything though, just sit on my computer and point customers towards the new balances
From what I understand about NC law, and if NC law is anything like CA law, you can't handle money until you're 18, meaning being a Cashier/Waiter/whatever is out of the question. You could try Chick-fil-a or something. JUST DON'T FUCKING BURN THE CHICKEN NUGGETS

My family isn't exactly rich. I want a job, so I won't have to burden my parents for my expenses.
I never really like the thought of working a cash register, since my brother was almost shot once for not having the key to the cash register.
I believe Burger King hires 14 year olds to wash dishes and clean, i almost got a job there when i was 14, but i never got it. edumacate;
