okay so like a cd is 700mb right, but it can only hold 80 minutes. why is this? 80 minutes is only like 200 mb of music, why can't i put more

There is a difference between an audio CD and a Data CD.
They are encoded differently.
BECAUSE CD'S USE A "LOSSLESS" ENCODING WHICH IS ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT.
Because the type of files that CD's have on them are uncompressed.

what i do is use MP3 cds, they hold 700mbs of music, which is about 5-6 hours of music. every opeth song on one cd!
