Pretty much. Ratchet and Clank are better games (though the only R&C games I consider better than Jak 2 and 3 are Going commando and R&C 1).
I enjoy Jak though since it has a more deeper yet simpler story.

UYA was rather dissapointing (compared to playing the first two), still awesome however.
The only problem I had was how short it was, but it made up for in a good online which the community successfully fucked up.
I still consider GC the best.

I haven't played them in a while, last one I played was Jak 3. And have you played Jak X? I played a little of it at the store and it wasn't that great. But maybe I just didn't play enough of it...
