Honestly I hate Windows. I mean I love the computer I'm using but that's only because my desktop doesn't look like this:

But why should I have to pay extra to protect my computer from hackers and viruses.
I like Windows. I haven't really had any big problems with it. flower;
Nobody really ever does expect the Spanish Inquisition. You'd think that would've changed by now.
And I don't hate Windows, but I'm not particularly fond of it. I want a Macbook.

At least you could come up with a good reason to derate Windows.
I mean, come on. You can either pay the few hundred dollars to get perfect protection on a Windows machine, or you can pay the extra $1000-$1500 for a Mac.
There are so many things to derate Windows on, but you pick a moronic reason. psyduck;
I used a mac in the apple store at the mall once, and it was too confusing. im not used to it at all. psyduck;

Yeah, the only problem I get is when I'm running too many things at once, and my computer goes SLOWWWWW.

So, you're used to running installers (that are able to do any modifications to your operating system) to extract shitloads of unnecessary files to a directory not accessible or even known by the mainstream audience? You're using to having to look at a shit-ugly luna theme with a scattered application launcher that includes subdirectories upon subdirectories just to launch a single program?

You can make a decent computer that will run everything well except for games for about $400 maybe, if you know how to build computers. If you want a Mac it'll cost at least $1000 for a decent Mac that will do everything besides play games.
I can get a PC that will run every computer game at the highest quality, maybe even Crysis at the lowest quality for $1000

I hate how everyone is told that Windows is so loaded with error messages. I've actually never gotten an actual error except for "Not Responding". Other things were confirmation prompts and the like, which actually occur way more in Ubuntu where I needed a password for just about anything psyduck;
I've never gotten Blue Screen except for once when I tried.

Windows should include way more drivers, but I'm just glad it supports everything. I can't use my wireless internet card, set my screen resolution above 800x600, or use audio without installing drivers on Windows while Ubuntu includes drivers for all of those psyduck;
My printer doesn't support anything other than Windows and my graphics and wireless mouse work partially in Ubuntu (mouse can't detect battery level and the screen only goes up to 1152x864)
I've never needed drivers for my Bluetooth adapter, corded mouse, corded keyboard, SD card, or those USB mass storage things.

What the fuck are you talking about? Max specs limit? I could install ME on this computer and it'll run. The only limit I can think of is the limits of FAT32, which has nothing to do with ME's instability.

It doesn't matter, when one of the mods get off their lazy asses this thread will probably be locked and we'll both be thrown out on our ass.

One, it's not floated here, it's stickied, and two, it isn't. If it was stickied, it'd have a deep shadow under the icon, not just be yellow.

And yeah, you're trying to insult me, and it's getting annoying. If you're not going to listen, but instead, pick out nonexistant flaws from my argument, go right ahead, I'm not stopping you. You keep thinking you're the smartest asshole here.

Windows has always been such a fucking hard ass on me. edumacate; I can't wait until my mac caterpie;
I prefer Linux over Windows, can't say anything about OS X (isn't it a new OS now?) since I've never used it. Windows' biggest problem is security, Ubuntu fixes that by not allowing you to login as root (by default, you can change it). Although Windows has way more programs, Then again you could use a vm or WINE on Ubuntu and get most Windows programs to work on Ubuntu.
btw Ubuntu=Linux for you n00bs
I just hate that windows (every new generation) is the same thing as the last, but with a new image for the "start" button and the taskbar, and they "add new features" to it.

"New features," with parentheses, means they did jack shit.
If you compare the progression of Unix and *Nix systems to Windows, you'll see Microsoft is slacking. A new version of Direct X, Internet Explorer, a glossy button, and a half assed flip really don't stand up to what Apple and open source teams have introduced over the years.

Average user doesn't know what Xcode is. Does that mean Apple should drop developer support?

No, never, then we wouldn't have free apps.
