I usually write in pen, unless I'm forced to use a pencil or I'm writing something important and it can't be sloppy.
I can't stand pencils, so I only use them when I have to. powerofone;

I always use pen even in Math now since I'm allowed.

I hate writing anything permanent.

Yeah, if I ever use a pencil, it's always mechanical. I hate having to get up and sharpen them, wasting precious test-taking time. gonk;

I love wood pencils, only real wood and a good eraser. I would just carry about 20 of them so I can rotate between them

Me too, but I just cover them in a big, messy glob of ink. I should show you guys some of my writing assignments some time. navi;

You know what pisses me off? Those damn wooden pencils with the eraser that arn't really erasers, they are just hard stubs that resemble an eraser and make smudges on your paper. argh;

The worst is those erasers on the plastic "wood" pencils.  caterpie;

I use either.

I like to switch it up every once in a while.

I use a pen.  I'm left handed so if I use a pencil it starts to smudge.

Pencil IF it's mechanical.. I don't loke normal conventional pencils much.

Otherwise, I'd use a pen, preferably purple.

Mechanical pencils. If I write with a pen, the ink smears all over my hand. :'(

Of course, that happens with pencils, but not as bad.

Pencil for damn near everything. I think the only thing I do in pen is sign things.

Don't care. Whichever one I grab.
