While not my first choice of memory, I'm fine with it. I only have about 5 GB of music anyways, and the 3 is plenty of room for me.
My mp3 is only 2 gig. Perfectly fine for me. powerofone;

I've got around 10 GB of music
Me too.
But my iPod only has 6 gigs. :'(
I only have about 500MB of music. psyduck;
My Zune is 30 gigs. I filled up about 13 so far with pictures, videos, and music. I'm thinking of making it so it only puts songs rated 2/5 + on there so it frees up space.

I used to have a Zune. While I liked it and miss it, I sold it. But now I can get an iPod Touch.

YOU'RE NOT THE FIRST ONE caterpie;
I have a first generation black-and-white iPod. As long as it can hold my 14+ GB music library, it's all I need.
Had the 20gb version but got stolen from my old best friend
It was full. I have 80gbs of music caterpie;

uh i've got about 10gb, all of which is ripped from cds i own, but that's because they're all flacky flacs
damn ipods can't play flacs
I might go with the 8gb Touch, though. I'd have to convert my music, but I'd probably have more than enough space. Probably not left much for video. Also, they need to not restrict third party software.

It should be just as easy to get any third party apps on an iPod touch as the iPhone. Apple doesn't really seem to care as much about homebrew and all that like Sony does.
I'd love to have a portable device with Cyberduck, Smultron, and Adium. <3

Then there shouldn't be any restrictions in the first place.
With the iPhone, I can understand, what with preventing access to the radio, attempting to keep it exclusive to at&t and all that. With the i, though, GOD DAMN LET ME PUT THINGS ON IT.
What, what, and ok.
