Title: METROID PRIME 3 DOES INDEED
Post by: ncba93ivyase on August 28, 2007, 04:45:06 PM
NOT SUCK.

The first hour or so feels shitty like Halo, but once you land on the first planet thingy, it gets back the feel of the other Metroid Prime games with a little dash of Super Metroid. The only thing I truly hate about it has more to do with the hardware than the game, since the piece of shit often loses track of my remote.

I actually found that battle with him kinda cool.

Though why the fuck do all the other hunters have all these cool special abilities and Samus doesn't really have anything special except for turning into a ball? gonk;

I liked the battle but just saying that he fails, also yeah the one guy can pretty much fly.

Same here. I'll play them someday, they're only like $10 now-a-days and thats exactly how much I spent so I'm good.

Love MP3 though, not too much different but it isn't as much as a "here you go, go find shit, and heres a shitty map to help you." Less frustrating then the first two games.

I thought that the maps were easy enough to follow in the first two.

...but then again, I found both of them to be way too easy overall.

........in fact, I find almost all games that people complain about to be easy. Maybe I'm just too quick of a learner for my own good.

I played Metroid Prime 1 the day it came out and not much since. I rented it and then bought it for $10 later, but never played my copy I bought since I looked at my save file to find that I was near the end of the game with 2 energy tanks. I don't know how I did that...

I was about 12 when I rented it and barley played games, I was about 14 when I started to collect games like crazy so I was a casual gamer until 15. I actually think that Metroid Prime was my first Metroid game. Games are a lot easier for me now because I've played enough games to know where the developers hide secret items. My friend said God of War was hard when I found it easy really, but I had trouble on the stupid button combos for some reason, not used to the analog stick I suppose.

I just got the screw attack, disappointed with how it works in this game, it doesn't let you climb up like it does in every 2D Metroid with the screw attack (it just lets you jump a lot farther), and the sound it makes is lame. And climbing the walls with it is lame.

Oh well, I loved using the screw attack in Fusion like crazy but I guess it's not really useful in this one, but it does cut down on the walking times.

Never has been a problem for me. I'm in the abandon ship right now, it's actually somewhat hard. Died from non-bosses, just because I didn't know you had to kill them in hyper mode.
