so today i have to go to my school at 4 and get my first period classes (?)
and then tomorrow (!) in first period we get the rest of our classes.
so i've never been to a public school before, they were all like charter, one teacher, one classroom the whole year.
i know nothin of switching classes, different teachers, 6 periods etc.
it feels like i'm a 6th grader!
(i'm going into 8th though)
so do you guys have any tips for me?
anything you would have liked to know?
also, they didn't give a school supplies list....
i have the basics and stuff, but if there is anything else you think i should get, lemme know.
For supplies, yeah, get the basics for the first day (binders, paper, pencils; that should be about it really) then each of your teachers will give you a more detailed list on the first day.
Ooh, I remember when I went into public school for the first time. It was waaay different!
You have the basics? Do you have something to keep yourself occupied when the classes get really boring? Like, I had tetris on my calculator, so that's what I did during math class, and other classes where I pretended to be doing math homework once the lesson was finished.

oh kaki, what a great influence you are.
but no seriously, where can i find that???
i also have to keep a 4.0 grade average. gonk;
Well, in public school, you will be eaten alive. Stand up for yourself, and never piss off the teachers.

Where do you download that? I just got one of those calculators that can hold games and shit.
Since you probably don't know many people at the school, just be yourself.
And be prepared to get lost.

LoL, I think my dad got mine at Staples, or Office Depot or something. I don't remember the exact model though. Geez, some help I am.
Let me try to look online. I know it was Texas Instruments, and you have to download it. Here, this might help:

Nevermind, broken link.
Do your homework even though your lazy, you might regret it if you don't.
Don't be an attention whore.
Don't be shy.
Don't get easily put down.
Be positive.
Don't let anything or anybody distract you while you do your work in class unless you have a partner.
Be organized.
Umm.. Ya..
I think that's all.

no, my dad.
OK! Get a TI-86, and also, you need the disc to transfer the game to your computer, and the cord. The Silver edition of the TI 86 comes with these things, I believer.

Make your mom or dad get you a new one. Use this line if you have to: "My teacher has required that we at least get a TI-86 graphing calculator for my advanced _________ class." Or something like that.

Don't worry too much about your grades right now, colleges only look at your high school grades. However, get used to doing your homework every night, and don't stay up too late. Otherwise you'll suffer the same fate I have china;
