So I pop in DKC for old time's sake, and it says all my files are gone. Not a big deal...several of my SNES games started doing that a while ago. So I assume it's just the internal battery being stupid again.
So then I go and try to start a new file, and I get a blue screen with text that says "This device will not operate when attached to a device used to make unauthorized copies" or something to that effect.
It started working again after I shut it off and tried again, but wtf? I've never gotten that error before. The only things attached to the SNES were the necessary tools to fucking play it.
No other game has done that? Well it must be old or just a bad day.
Get it for the Wii. spam;

Yeah, it blew my mind. I'd never seen that before I popped that game in. I've been playing it a lot lately, and it hasn't done it again since.
