Title: WINDOWS USER? ROFL. SCREENSHOTING MADE EASY.
Post by: Feynman on August 02, 2007, 07:53:18 AM
I've attached a Firefox extension that allows you to screenshot a part of a webpage without using printscreen. You may install it by going file > open file and selecting the xpi.

Quote from: The extension's help htmlasmfljrof file on how to use it1.  Navigate to the web page containing the information you want to snapshot.
   2. Enable Snapper by using one of these methods:
          * Click the Snapper icon, on the bottom status panel of the window.
          * Bring up a context-menu on the page, and select "Start Snapping"
          * Bring up a context-menu on the Snapper icon, and select "Start Snapping"
   3. Click and drag on the webpage to select the area to be included in the snapshot.
   4. After the area selection has been made, a dialog will appear to save the snapshot.

okay thanks

THIS REQUIRES NO KEY-PRESSING. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CLICK A FISH, SELECT AN AREA, RELEASE THE LEFT CLICK AND A SCREENSHOT APPEARS ON YOUR DESKTOP.

No, I just open up my start menu real quick and click it real quick, and then just choose what I want to screen shot.

Really easy and simple, and work with more than just Firefox.

Whatever you do, don't screen a movie, put it into paint, then turn the movie back on. A weird phenomenom.

OK, I'm actually curious as to what's going to happen.

Tell me before I accidentally end up destroying my brother's computer.

If you screenshot a movie then paste it into paint or something else, you will be able to play it inside the picture.

That's only Windows media player movies. And it happens in Photoshop, too.
