I just stuck a Shellos up on GTS for kicks, asking for a Kricketot.
I got the trade and PokeRus with it.
The only thing is... I don't know what to do with it. Can someone tell me how long it lasts? I heard it keeps the benefits after it's gone... is that true?
It lasts for about 2-3 days, and yes, the effects last even after it's cured.

Put it in your party with a bunch of other Pokemon. Every single pokemon on my Emerald version that I had before March has PokeRus now.
