opening track goes hard as hell, awesome
whole album's very good but will need more listens
i'm listening to this first song now. not really into this first song. doesnt really "go hard" like kaz claims. sounds like a deep cut from the money store. this second song has a cool intro. third song has a slick groove to it. if death grips did more like this third song id been more into them.
also i listened to a bit of exmilitary before this and that first song is a lot cooler than i remember. rest of the album still blows though.
after further listening to the new album i can tell you that it is 96 percent garbage with the only redeeming song being the second track anne bonny
completely ignoring sid like any good person should, i can tell you that it's better than no love deep web and it's a solid album, but it's no money store and not even close to exmilitary's lofty heights

Last time I was here you weren't much of a music guy. If that's still the case, Death Grips probably isn't for you. It's not easily accessible music at all.
whatever this album blows and is probably the 2nd worse rap album released this year.
it's like they took ye's beats from yeezus (which he practically stole from death grips) and filtered that even further.
i will say the money store is their best album. anything else is boring and unlistenable minus a few songs here and there.
but yeah oingo boingo is the worse thing to come out of the eighties and when i think of shitty new wave bands they're the first come to mind.

I'm with lawlz and notsid. Then again I've never been one for such harsh music
But in regards to this album... Needledrop didn't even like it and he's huge on death grips. Not that that means anything. Other than maybe he'll start reviewing some other genres more since he seems cyclical to me

granted, i still like it, and i still think it's better than no love deep web (because that album was just kinda ok i guess), but it's still definitely not one of their better albums at all

but i think it has more to do with the fact that i was a bit hyped when it first came out and that probably made me like it slightly more than i do now lol
i like it as much as before (which is quite a bit), it's better than no love deep web (which has some amazing tracks but overall is just alright) but not near as good as exmilitary or the money store.
i think it's more that they've just been putting out too much too fast so we're getting death grips overload, if they just take some more time to put something together it would probably be amazing

it's definitely the most accessible Death Grips album
but i think you would probably dig at least a few songs off of Exmilitary too
