I generally trend towards vegetarian/vegan but I'm really not strict about it. We get cheese, ice cream, and eggs pretty regularly, but haven't bought meat from a grocery store in probably two years now. Been alternating between soy and cashew milk for about a year too.
If I go to a restaurant and there's no real vegan options, or having dinner with family, I'll eat meat, but even that has me feeling pretty weird lately, both mentally and physically. Just the idea of eating a dead animal is so strange when you it's not a normal everyday thing. Having a pet rabbit too has kind of freaked me out when I see or hear about rabbit meat. All her siblings were actually used for meat. It's made me question where we really draw the line with what animals are fine to eat and which are considered wrong. Originally I started on this for environmental reasons, as ethically I don't see eating meat as an unnatural or inherently bad thing, but even for locally raised, well-treated animals, I just don't think it's for me anymore. I have no issue with local eggs though.

Just found Impossible meat at Trader Joe's the other day, and holy shit it is so good, much better than the Impossible Whopper, or the Beyond Burger. Beyond Sausage is fantastic though, as are plenty of other meat alternatives you can find pretty much anywhere nowadays. I also ordered from a German restaurant for dinner tonight, and surprisingly they had quite a lot of great vegetarian/vegan options.

i tried going full vegan at the begging of the year but there i no way i can fully give up fish/chick/ground beef and eggs.
so i eat a lot of veggies and fruit carbs, berries, milk products etc. but heavy read meat and bread are things i don't really eat anymore.

kudos to you guys if you're able to consistently eat that way and maintain a healthy active lifestyle.

feeling lean and energized versus bloated and tired is fantastic.
