realistically biggest reasoning is i wanted another tattoo and i found some traditional shark tattoos that i liked (sailor jerry).

but also i have spent a lot of my life around water (grew up on a lake, was on swim team for like 8 years) and i have always had a dumb fear of sharks so it felt kind of fitting. this artist has done my last two tattoos now and i kind of want more from him: https://www.instagram.com/xmishkatraditionalx/

also those are cool as hell. i worry that the light colors would fade a lot over time but i don't think that's a reason to not do it. very unique style also very not surprising that they're korean lol
