Honestly, the negativity of you people got to me.

Unfortunately, it ruined Boyah for me. I don't really have a lot in my life, and I was so happy to see the alert that we'd upgraded in the mail, got some Subway™ and had a blast. I posted for a while, and had to take a break and decided to check the complaint thread. I thought everyone would feel how I felt about 2.0, but no, all I saw was people attacking Snorkel for lying about features. I couldn't care less about carrying over personal messages because I'm kinda a loner anyway, but everyone else did. Everyone hates Snorkel now, and I felt bad for loving the forum so much. I understand the negative criticism for some glicthes, but the upgrade surprised me so much with the responsiveness I didn't know about before, the postivites outweighed the negatives.

Now though, with that negativity is looming over me, and I'm not feeling so good about Boyah. I thought the Boyah community would make me feel great about 2.0, but instead it made me feel horrible for demanding it. This happened with me with Outsider and NSider, where forums I loved posting on suddenly had their flaws be the only thing I saw after spending extensive time with their users.

Call me weak or a boyahp*ssy for letting someone else's opinion affect mine so much, but trust me, I wish it didn't.

Boyah 2.0 was the main reason I got out of bed yesterday morning. Now I just can't look at it the same. At this point, all I can say is "that's it." I'm done. I don't feel that excited about anything else this year, so sorry, but I'm giving up. I can't find a community who praises Boyah 2.0, so I'm left with hating it.

Don't hate for me saying this but Boyah 2.0 takes an open mind to understand and enjoy it all.

I know I'll get crap for this but it's what I feel. I have friends that are very closed minded all the time and they hate the upgrade. Then I have friends who are very open minded and in the past we have posted about stuff on a deep level, the friends love the upgrade.

I feel like in order to really enjoy Boyah 2.0 you have to be an emotional person or at least somewhat intact with your emotional said. This process is a journey and an experience. It's not your typical fight-or-flight, politics-and-drama-focused Boomerbook. Does anyone agree at all?

Edit: So it looks like many don't agree. I can say I worded it wrong but on some level it's just how I feel. All I meant is someone who can take this forum and make a post for themselves will enjoy it much better. Someone who needs to ogle instathots or who's starved for tw@ter likes may not like this site. You have to have a creative imagination to really enjoy Boyah 2.0. Heck I'm probably closed minded for thinking this.
