man gas prices just remind me how dogshit like 95% of american cities are designed its wild that our leaders think that mega highway parking lot cities are gonna be sustainable for like another 100+ years lmao we needed like 50% more walkable communities like 20 years ago

yep 100% and this is such an absurd concept to your average american

i live in one of the most bikeable cities with some of the best public transit and there are still a lot of areas that are legitimately unsafe to get to without a car. don't want to say that we're fucked but it's starting to feel like we're inching closer to an automotive hellscape every day
