on a scale of 1-10 how badly do you think you're wasting your life away?

unless it's just, "i feel aimless" to "i dont feel aimless" scale
that's how I was taking it

kaz i really think, through my silcion valley POV, i really think you should pursue VR storytelling rather than pen and paper fiction. it's the same thing but you'll generate literally way more attention and interest if you attach your passion to something that's gonna grow over time rather than an already stagnant medium.

food for thought. i posted this before, but shakespeare literally built the globe theatre with his friends with his hands. he created his medium for a captive audience. thats why we all know him, had he just written books or became a playwright at the local theatre nobody would remember him.

you can judge yourself better than anyone else can. you know the full story.

in public irl i keep up a really clean, successful image of myself because i have low self esteem or w/e and need the validation. but at the end of the day i know im a fuckup and the people who were present to observe my fuckup know im a fuckup. this is facts. its true for everybody, they know to what extent theyre a fuckup more than anyone else bc theyve been present for all of the fucking up.
i target men like this irl
I rate myself a three
it's so nice I've developed imposter syndrome and feel guilty when my other friends lives are so much more harder

so you target everyone?

i mean the path to success is lined with terrible self esteem. i guess its possible to love yourself and not ahve much, which might be better.

that's a good point, but tbh i don't think i have any particular desires of how far i want my "career" to go. all i really want is to be able to publish books and make an ok living. i don't care about much tbh

he has a point, though

you'd have a much larger, cheaper to access audience in digital format

but that's not to say you can't simply use both mediums to your advantage

it feels good to have that kind of recognition though, that some amount of people remember what you did
