cream of cannas soup

I spent an entire day gardening and waterin gthe cannas growing in the yard, and harvested several tenter, tiny, small corms,w hich are edible. I follow the same recipe I use for my homemade Cream of MushRoom Soup, that includes a roux. He didn't even taste a drop before asking me for the goddamned seasoned salt. I keep it hidden hoping just hoping he'll forget about it altogether.
