[spoiler]the amount of ds1 fanservice in smouldering lake is kind of ridiculous [/spoiler]

also the bonfire placement in this game is downright terrible. i feel like only one level so far has been cleverly designed around having a central bonfire (and is my favorite area yet). the rest of the game just sprinkles bonfires everywhere without thinking about how far apart they are. (for instance: [glow=black,2,300]abandoned tomb + demon ruins + old demon king bonfires in the catacombs. wtf were they thinking)[/glow]

also...i know everyone else will jizz over it but i'm stuck on pontiff sulyvahn and it's just fucking awful. you have absolutely no breathing room and his combos last 7 attacks. it's just memorization-based not-fun bullshit.[/spoiler]
