anybody who bought it specifically for ffvxiii probably bought it with the intent on playing all of the failed fabula nova cyrstalis games lol, the former is a legitimate gripe

Never again. Though I did get it for Mario Kart 8 and that free game promotion they had going on at the time. (And WW HD) But that new Zelda was why I jumped the gun.

i pretty much bought mine for the same reason, and it helped that it was $200 at the time

and i guess the fact that i figured i would inevitably need one for zelda did factor into my purchase somewhat, but more immediate were mk8 and sm4sh (and 3d world and some other things)

yeah, Mario Kart was good. So far I have that game, wind waker hd, pikmin 3, super mario bros u/luigi u, monster hunter 3 ultimate, duck tales remastered, mp trilogy, smg 2, and a bunch of gba and other vc games. (Mostly metroid, mario, and zelda titles) And there are, I think, at least a few other games I want, so it hasn't exactly been a waste. But I will be very disappointed/sad/mad if the new zelda doesn't come out for the wii u.

I’ve pulled myself back out of some of the hardware section and I’m really focused on some of the software that I’m involved inâ€"for example, the new Starfox game. Of course I am observing and looking at the hardware, but I am not actively participating and making decisions.

I was expecting it to be a Fall 2016 release, no earlier than October, considering that they haven't even formally announced it yet

Don't they always wait until E3 for hardware reveals? If they do it for this supposed schedule, the announcement timing will be "by the way, you should pre-order it right now to get one of the very limited stock releasing next month"
