highly recommend playing 2017 first
like, 2025 is probably a better game in the sense that it has more features and stuff, but 2017 is SO good and i feel like if you spoiled yourself with 2025 first you wouldn't appreciate it

that being said i have only put a few hours into 2025, and thought that it was pretty good (have probably put over 100 hours into 2017 though)
insect Armageddon is balls though. different company id ignore it
