i saw a bird flying- seemingly aimlessly i guess.  i am familiar with the usual birds that fly around here and the occasional cardinal, blue jays, crows, seagulls, cranes, ducks, geese, etc..  now im not an expert on birds but umm part of me thinks it was a hawk.   whatever it was, it was bigger than any bird i've seen.  couldn't have been a goose, its neck wasn't so long.  it was flying alone and it flew in circles that weren't so big, it was going higher as it flew in more circles.  i must have watched it for 5 minutes.  for some reason it reminded me of a vague memory of me as a kid watching a nickle i threw sink in michigan lake.  originally, i was supposed to find a paint brush that i dropped outside while walking to class earlier but oops.  couldn't find it anywhere anyway when i was looking- probably fell when i was on the bus

eventually it "sank" in the sky

and then i went back to class
