spiders we've found so far:
1: big one downstairs on the sink.  evacuated safely
2: in my clothes. may have been a hobo spider and those might be dangerous, so i reluctantly disposed of it because i don't want rotting flesh
3: very large cellar spider currently happily residing under the dishwasher. you could easily get him on your foot if you move a little too close

i have had no insect problems other than a large new york cockroach that assaulted me while being out on the streets

I usually try to ignore spiders unless they make cobwebs in visible spaces. Rather have spiders than other pests.

Would not be cool with a spider bigger than my wrist though

i got centipedes which are also good at pest control but on the other hand they go wherever they goddamn please so i'd rather have spiders tbh

back in húsavík we did not have many spider nor lot of bug. it was good. but so is spiders here in portland
