i don't really see much of anything wrong with this kind of stuff at a basic level. it's just promoting awareness for stuff like:

women want to be able to feel safe but can't because of ridiculous rape and murder statistics and the fact that there are entire internet subcultures devoted to negating their progress toward equality that are now proven to be able to lead to misogyny-inspired mass shootings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

obviously when it gets to the point of spreading hate then i'm not really cool with it though. i'm not really big on this whole "let's bash all white men simply for being white men" thing. i feel like that's kind of a step backward. still, people in a position of power don't have much reason to feel offended or complain.

and like boognish said a lot of this is just people wanting to feel like they're solving problems by complaining on the internet but it's pretty harmless anyway so who cares

honestly if the current spread of feminism on the internet actually helps things then more power to them idk it's really hard to not be indifferent about all of this
