As much as i like female protagonists, i hope they dont do this

i actually don't see how it would matter in the slightest tbh

there's nothing in the canon specifically saying that link always has to be male, i don't think? it's just a certain bloodline or being chosen by the gods basically

thinking about it that way, that actually makes sense. Now i see it as an interesting oppurtunity.
