Been seeing this girl for a few weeks, a friend from college who wanted to keep up and up.

Went for fish tacos and bum wine at a local dive, one of my favorites. Went great. 

Anyways, after dinner and few draughts, after walking her home, I started back homewards. The friday night early junkie limbo is infectious, a floozie sickness.

It's like a fucking fever dream, the people that flow down concrete current, taking bites at the street, puking behind exhaust pipes and talking about 21'st birthdays, trying to reel you in.

The worst thing I've seen is a pregnant girl puking into a city planter while her friends offer her ciggarettes to calm her down. You want to just shake a fist at them, but it'll never matter.
