I mean, I think people for the most part may have moved on from these games, but I still feel bad about it.  I always wondered when there'd be an end for online services for them.

Technology and globalism go hand and hand. If you want to be on the forefront of technology then you gotta be global

It's probably an effort to get consumers to get their new products.

About time.

They're discontinuing Brawl's online several months before SSB4 will release

They're killing what limited competitive play still exists for Pokémon gens 4 and 5

Some games they're killing, like The Last Story and Black2/White2, are only like a year and a half old.

YPrrrr

DS is more understandable to me for some reason. Probably the recent success of the 3DS?

But so many people don't have a Wii U. I wonder if this will actually make people want to buy one or if people will just shelve the wii online and shrug their shoulders

I spent a lot of hours on Mario Kart Wii. Good times.

But upgrades must happen. tomatoes;

nintendo doesn't take that approach

Kalahari Inkantation

the only wii game i played online extensively was monster hunter, but the servers for that went down months ago lol

despite being a wii title it was one of the best online multiplayer games of the generation :'(
