Idk how people can say it's been too long, it's easier than riding a bike, you just move your legs and or arms up and down or in a circular motion

1. Grew up in a big urban environment, no backyards
2. Grew up poor
3. Parents were very busy, and too poor to take me to a "pool"
4. None of my schools had a pool—not even my high school
5. By the time I was old enough to go to the YMCA or whatever by myself, I didn't give a shit

The pool is a wealthy man's venue. It is inaccessible to inner city children. I have a relative who purchased a home with a pool recently, so I'll be learning at his place during the summers, I guess.

i've only gone to a pool like 5x but could never learn within those times.  ;_;

I can't ride one either girl;

My balance is fucked

aww ;_;

childhood story time:

when i was like 10 years old- everyone i knew in my neighborhood learned how to ride a bike.  well...my parents were always busy or tired when they had free time.  so i just always would run to places the kids would ride their bikes to so we could hangout or something.  then one day, i asked a 2nd grader, 8yrs old, if he could teach me how to ride a bike.  i didn't give a fuk if he was 2 grades below me.  he was still a friend.

so we went on a mini hill and he said, "okay u use my bike, and go down this hill.  keep ur balance."  we did this because i couldn't find balance on flat ground.  so he held me on the top of that small hill, then ran and pushed me and followed me down until he couldn't- as if he was like my father lol.  eventually i got the hang of riding his bike.  but..i could only ride after the momentum of going off a hill and mainly go straight.

so later on, he moved.  i missed going in his house talking about the paranormal and playing yoshi's island.  but yeah, my first bike was a bike from a garage sale.  i think it was only $15, but it rusted badly since i kept it outside a lot.  i also crashed a lot and fell from it since it was so tall for me.  my dad bought me a new bike...but it was a huge mountain bike.  the times i used these bikes, i got into a lot of accidents- but would never break anything.  a black guy would put an end to that bike by accidentally crashing into a tree (how???)

bought another bike.  but yeah, with practice, i learned how to ride a bike with one arm, and somewhat with no hands.  learned how to stand up while riding.  and just not being a pussy when making sharp turns and going up or down from some stairs or curbs.  sharp turns are still scary to me a bit.  even narrow places don't scare me much.  i know how to keep in my own trail, too- in the case of riding on the road with other cars to the shoulders of the road

currently, my bike's backtire is fucked.  i used it many times to get into the downtown area of another town.  but one time i jumped off the curb hard that it didn't feel "right" soon after that and now air always escapes from it.
