What is a Travis?
A miserable little pile of secrets. But enough talkā€¦ Have at you!

Boogus Epirus Aurelius

Funny story about Travis....

Back about three years ago, I was a little down on my luck. Got a little behind on rent and I owed the bookie down the street about five hundred bucks and I was stuck eating beef bouillon cubes and drinking ditch-water from my neighbor's lawn.

So, one day, I hear these knocks on my door, right? Real authoritative knocks, these. The kind of knock the big-bald headed cop would make in one of those prime-time CBS crime dramas.

Then I hear "boognish, yer time's up shithead. Pay up or else!"

The bookie kicks down my door and his cronies, all "little people", all of them under four feet, start swarming my room, knocking over my lamp and kicking out my tv tube. Then, as they start for my face, I see this light down by the hallway. It's Travis with a ham and cheese hot-pocket in one hand and the biggest handgun I've ever seen in the other. The fuckers just scatter, even the bookie.

Travis walks up to my bed and drops a little bit of paper on the covers without saying a word, and then leaves.

The piece of paper was a scratch-off lottery ticket. Ended up winning Twenty five thousand dollars from it.

Cheers Travis!
