think about this: you would've settled for a boring life and instead you're making something more exciting

What bothers me is everybody settling for the path of least resistance.

also i just found out that some guy who helped me out a lot in high school died

people i used to know are dying and getting divorced and having kids. i don't want to be old enough to feel this akudood;

Since when does sticking with someone you love, into marriage, shitty and the "path of least resistance"?
Like what Notsid said, it just sounds like you're describing "failure", not "growing up". A stable job that pays well that you enjoy is not giving up.

And fuck "settling". If it feels right to you, fuck everything else. Why should someone have to feel like they have to rate and gauge their life's decisions by someone else all the time.

individuals who get married are fooling themselves because people aren't that great that someone can spend their whole life around one of them

Technology and globalism go hand and hand. If you want to be on the forefront of technology then you gotta be global

 Yeah, growing up is depressing, especially when you don't really have a family and you're kind of just in a Limbo of day to day work grind.

This is completely different than what I imagined.
Eh...I'm such a bummer.
