By drawing the perspective of his audience he is shunning the need to conform to what society's idea of art is and embracing what makes him happy which is the approval of others

if you care what other people deem acceptable you're arting wrong

it's just one thing and one person.  if this were a solo project like on my own time and not related to school, i'd do it but this is for a class. 

lol im not going to risk my grade for the sake of one painting or being rebellious.  im gonna see if it's appropriate regardless of what people say.  if it is then ok.
