not really there's only one good mbv record (coincedentally it's the only good shoegaze album) [and it's not mindblowing]

also you shoujld check out Killer Mike. He just put out an album with some guy that was very well received (I'm not sure the BEST starting place with him. My supe at work has been playing him and I'm not really into rap that much but his shit is hot)
