'tell me how you made the d-pad even better', i like how this is implying how the d-pad was ever good on the 360 ifeelbetter;
I love the emphasis on features like dpad and USB which other controllers have had for years

I imagine that "even better" is comparing to the transforming dpad.
Although I'd have to try it to be sure, I feel like this dpad looks like it will still be noticeably worse than any of Nintendo's thanks to details like that excessive curve.

lol i can't wait for gamescom to come around.  you know this is opening the door for the $399 version without kinect included [watch microsoft also strip away other features too]

Does the current envisioning of the Xbox One have anything in common with the product that was introduced on May 21 and further explained at E3? sillydood;

Now I know what the next announcement will be: DVR functionality won't be included at launch and will be part of a future update
and that update will be delayed by over a year y/n
lol of gourd, that would be so microsoft

also reminds me how the dvr functionality is still only available to us buyers.  how microsoft acts like the rest of the world doesn't exist is baffling

Rofl.  I wouldn't be surprised, when you completely change the product you're attempting to release, it probably makes it more difficult n_u

even before all the policy reversals and hardware revisions it seemed like they would only barely be able to manage a holiday release

True.  It's odd how Sony seems to be gliding so easily to launch [maybe what Cerny said about how Sony went about building it is true] considering how pretty much identical the base hardware is lol befuddlement

speaking of things that won't be available at launch, I saw this suggested article on that page david just linked: http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/12/xbox-one-controller-pc-compatibility-update/

The Xbox One controller won't even have Windows drivers until 2014... even though there should already be completed Windows drivers for it considering that Xbox One has exactly the same OS, kernel, driver API, etc.
