but bamco owns more notable fighting series than their dbz games, namely soulcalibur and tekken, and those would be much more likely to appear

not that they will.

those were due to those characters being super iconic, not due to developer interest
i mean, it's definitely possible for namco characters to be included, but i see a much lower chance with them than i saw with sonic and snake
