What life choices have you recently been presented?

I'm switching majors from mathematics (I'm in the senior-level courses) into communications in order to track into private sector work instead of actuarial junk

W-well...I'm going to try to learn how to drive this Summer...very soon...  I have to cut most of my hair to go for some job in the near future.  Then stuff about moving out, transferring, and etc. on my own one year from now, possibly.

I would rather be a private advertiser (our college's comm majors usually make $40k/yr) instead of an actuary ($70k/me hating myself and being depressed)

I never realized how cripplingly depressed math made me until I realized I'd be doing it for the rest of my life
