so over the last 6 months i have burnt through like 6 apple 30 pin to usb cables. does anyone else have this problem with cables they are constantly using? somehow i haven't really had the problem until recently...

the micro-usb cables companies give out when one buys a shitphone seem to be the flimsiest pieces of poop known to man.  i've had at least four in my phone's one-and-a-half-year lifespan.

I used to have the same problem and then I stopped using my cables to tie up lumber and dock my boat and the problem went away.

The only cable I've ever had break is the non-detachable VGA cable on a CRT monitor. Not completely broken, it made the colors extremely unreliable in that after any pinch or movement any combination of the 3 primary colors may not be working. It effectively made the entire monitor junk.

There are also a couple cords I have with animal bite marks, but they function perfectly fine, including my Gamecube's power adapter, which by the way I put electrical tape over as an extra precaution.
