my sister and her boyfriend got me a pair of etymotic earbuds and they sound great but they are more painful than I could have imagined anything involving my ears could possibly be. I haven't tried the foam tips yet though.

yeah I think my uncle got a little more "into" my gift than what he got for my sisters, since he said I'm the only person he knows besides him that likes big over-the-ear headphones. They're so goddamn comfortable
