Okay so on Wednesday I got 5 albums:
The Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
Mando Diao - Give Me Fire
Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes

The Beatles are amazing, but this album was just okay for me, nothing that great.
Oracular Spectacular is really a wonderful album, never a dull moment in it.
I've never listened to Animal Collective, but it somehow sounds familiar to me. They're really a very good band, with My Girls definitely being the best song. Getting about halfway through the album however, many of the sounds began to sounds fairly similar.
Mando Diao, oh god. They are one of my favorite bands, and they sort of blew it on this one. The first song is both really great yet also utterly terrible. There's quite a few songs that were total let downs. Towards the 2nd half of the CD, the songs began to get very good, but the 1st half just put me off so much. The last song on the album is finally where they got it right, something I was hoping they had done throughout the whole release.
Fleet Foxes.... idk, it was alright I suppose. The songs were all fairly nice, but also a tad forgettable.
