Yeah I knew that much, it's the only Star Wars book I read because I just thought he looked cool and wanted him to get more of an arc...

why is that stupid? if it's episode 7, they're not going to call it something else.

well, meaning that, the movie timeline clearly hit an end with ep 6, so the fact that they are trying to continue that, it seems, is kinda dumb. If they would just make more star wars movies, basically just place them in the same universe, but with different characters, then it would probably be ok.
