In this world there is a certain amount of stress and misfortune, anguish and tragedy. We accept this on behalf of providence and lack of power. But it is never pleasant. I am witness to one sad page of this dark chapter in natural affairs. There is a common fly, who by instinct or unknown force, has become trapped between the various panes of my bedroom window. It is desperate to escape. But it cannot remember how it came to be. I noticed that the multitude of openings and folds are too intricately designed and counter intuitive in form, function and shape, for this mighty creature to navigate and leave the bondage of. It's quite sadistic, sick, almost. So it struggles for life, I hear it buzz, it fights to survive, I hear it crashing in the glass, it languishes in the crevices, I wonder if I have lost my mind. I cannot help but watch in awe, aware that I myself am not so far removed from this vermin's plight. Replace the glass with walls, the frames with people and the form with thoughts, and here I am, buzzing, fighting, struggling to exist, unaware just as the fly is, that not far is an open door, to free air, the right eye, for success, and a heart, for love. I am moved to action, but just as fate would have it, the fly is dead. I waited too long. There is no sound, no motion, it simply lies still, on a cold and obscure window, in between two worlds. What bothered me for hours, now I have come to miss. To see it in this state, no one will ever know the anguish that this fly endured.

I expected this to transition into necrophiliac fly erotica, you disappoint me.

if it makes you feel any better: if you believe in reincarnation, maybe the fly will find a better life in a new form????

Its body is still there.

If flies help decompose things by eating dead bodies and planting larva, how do flies decompose???

FAMY2

They don't. They remain there forever.
