Steely Dan bitching about Wes Anderson. As I said in the title, Steely Dan can just go ahead and gargle on my tiny balls.

Why so defensive of Wes Anderson?

Because he's one of the best directors out there. Plus, Steely Dan is only hating on Anderson because Owen and Luke Wilson are close friends who are in most of Anderson's movies. Also, Steely Dan is a terrible, terrible band, regardless of this.

Wes Anderson's not terrible, but he's certainly not one of the "best directors out there."

Yes, he is. Rushmore is the best movie of the decade, The Life Aquatic is a fantastic film, The Royal Tenenbaums is another excellent movie, and Bottle Rocket is one of the best debut films since Mean Streets.
